Invitation
The eco-friendly stationery brand Be Nice invites you to an exhibition dedicated to the legendary Czech entrepreneur Tomáš Baťa and his unique self-development philosophy. The exhibition presents original art prints, self-growth journals, and planners inspired by Baťa’s timeless principles. The event takes place at kaš-mi-daš in Holešovice.

“First, build yourself — then you will build your business.”
About Tomáš Baťa and His Legacy
Tomáš Baťa was known for his precision with words — he never spoke in vain. Every thought he shared carried deep responsibility and intent. His famous statement captures his lasting legacy:
“I do not bequeath these buildings or machines. Buildings are merely piles of bricks, concrete, and glass; machines are only heaps of iron. What I bequeath to you is a system — a system that shall remain for the benefit of all.”
When Baťa says for the benefit of all, he truly means everyone — not only entrepreneurs and managers, but all who seek growth and development. Alongside the Baťa Management System, a philosophy evolved that shaped how people approached their work, themselves, and their lives. According to Baťa’s principles, success begins with the courage to start with oneself — to become one’s own priority and to transform discipline into a tool for achieving one’s dreams.

How to Begin with Yourself: Be Nice Products
- Journal for Yourself (Deník SOBĚ) — divided into three chapters: Perceive, Care, Indulge. It offers space for reflection, self-awareness, and goal setting, guiding users on their journey of inner growth and transformation.
- 2026 Planners — inspired by Baťa’s philosophy and respect for Czech craftsmanship. Each month features one of Baťa’s timeless thoughts, with space at the end for personal notes, ideas, and reflections.
- Signed Art Prints — graphic interpretations of Baťa’s quotes, such as the poster “Baťa – The Word ‘Impossible’ Does Not Exist,” reminding us that our limits often exist only in our minds.
