Product detailed description
In the second half of the Meiji period, as Japan underwent rapid change and began to appreciate its own culture anew, new shades inspired by traditional colors appeared. One of these is “Araishu,” a bright but softly washed vermilion with a light, fresh appearance.
Kuretake Ink-café MEIJI NO IRO “ARAISHU” ink has a rich yet gently lightened red orange tone that reflects the meeting of tradition and new developments in Japanese colors at the end of the 19th century.
This ink is ideal for fountain pens, glass pens, dip pens and Kuretake Karappo pens. Its rich color and smooth flow offer both a beautiful impression and an authentic touch of history, connecting traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern writing.
