Kuretake Meiji No Iro ink, 20 ml, Ebicha
Code: ECF060-531 - EBICHARelated products
Product detailed description
During the Meiji period, purple was regarded as a noble color reserved for the aristocracy. As ordinary people hesitated to use it, the shade “Ebicha” gained favor instead: a reddish brown reminiscent of tea leaves with a hint of purple. It became particularly popular among female students, who wore it on traditional hakama divided skirts, symbols of modern women's education.
Kuretake Ink-café MEIJI NO IRO “EBICHA” ink has a deep, elegant brownish purple shade that looks refined yet remains soft and approachable.
This ink is ideal for fountain pens, glass pens, dip pens and Kuretake Karappo pens. Its rich color and smooth flow offer both a beautiful impression and an authentic touch of history, connecting traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern writing.
