Noodler's bulletproof ink 10 ml sample, Black Swan Australian Rose

Handmade bulletproof ink from the small American company Noodler’s offers a very interesting purple-red colour.

It is generally considered a darker ink, but it has a wide range of shades – depending on the intensity, you can achieve both pale pink-purple tones and a rich, intense dark purple reminiscent of the colour of Australian roses, as the name suggests.

The ink is also partially “bulletproof” – that is, partially resistant to water, UV light, bleach and alcohol. Some colour particles may wash away slightly on contact with these, but the core colour remains entirely intact, so your notes will be safe.

To be truly bulletproof, the ink contains special cellulose-reactive dyes, which unfortunately make it unsuitable for writing on recycled paper and paper without a cellulose coating in general (it may feather a little).

Any other material, however, is easy for it. It also dries very quickly and is forgery-resistant.

It is suitable for new and vintage fountain pens and for painting.
