The Octopus Sheen Ink delivers an exceptional writing experience thanks to a colorful sheen that changes with the viewing angle, the amount of ink and the paper used. The base color of each ink is overlaid with a metallic sheen – for example in pink, gold or copper shades. These inks were inspired by mythical creatures such as the unicorn, sea serpent and Medusa, and share their mysterious, magical feel.
The best effect appears on smooth, less absorbent paper – for example in notebooks with quality fountain pen paper or when writing with a glass pen, brush or broad nib. On absorbent paper, only the base color shows, without sheen. The ink is water-soluble and, due to its composition, dries more slowly than ordinary inks. All shades are 100 % vegan and made entirely in Germany.
