Pilot CON-40 – a converter for bottled ink

Pilot CON-40 is an original twist-action converter that allows compatible Pilot fountain pens to be filled directly from a bottle. It provides a reusable alternative to disposable ink cartridges and opens up a wide choice of bottled ink colours.

Ink is drawn into the converter by turning its end mechanism. The transparent reservoir makes it possible to monitor the remaining ink level, while the small metal balls inside help break surface tension and keep the ink moving.

The converter is particularly suitable for Pilot Capless fountain pens, whose compact internal construction does not accommodate the larger CON-70N converter. Compatibility with the specific pen model should always be checked before purchase.
