Taccia Aizen Urushi – Amamoya
Taccia Aizen Urushi is an exceptional limited-edition fountain pen that unites traditional Japanese urushi lacquer craftsmanship with poetic inspiration drawn from nature. The name “Aizen” refers to a landscape veiled in mist and fog—mountain scenery where layers of haze gently flow from peaks down into the valleys.
The Aizen collection consists of three colour variations, each expressing a different mood of mist:
- Yuumoya – Red
- Asamoya – Orange
- Amamoya – Black
The pen’s surface is created using the Kanshitsu (dry-urushi) technique, employing silver urushi lacquer applied in a textured relief. This results in a subtly rough, matte surface that conveys depth, restraint, and a contemplative atmosphere.
Both body and cap are crafted from ebonite, a traditional material valued for its lightness, durability, and warm tactile feel. The pen is fitted with a 14-karat gold nib, offering smooth ink flow and refined writing performance.
