A calligraphy pen for precise, fluid strokes
Tom’s Studio Flourish is an elegant calligraphy pen designed to sit comfortably in the hand while providing control over every stroke. Its contoured body is precision-machined from a solid bar of aluminium, and its balanced weight makes it suitable for first calligraphy exercises as well as regular professional use.
Flourish is a traditional holder for interchangeable dip calligraphy nibs. It has no internal ink reservoir: the nib is dipped into calligraphy ink as you write. A universal G nib is included, while other compatible nibs can be changed easily to achieve different levels of flexibility, fineness and line character.
Straight or oblique holder
The straight version holds the nib in line with the body and is a versatile choice for different calligraphy styles, drawing and general practice with a flexible nib. Its durable stainless steel ferrule accommodates most standard calligraphy nibs in different sizes.
The oblique version holds the nib away from the centre line of the body, helping you achieve a natural writing angle for modern calligraphy and scripts such as Copperplate or Spencerian. The universal brass flange can be rotated, the nib angle adjusted and the pen configured for right- or left-handed use.

Care
Remove and clean the nib after use according to the type of ink used. Do not allow ink to dry inside the ferrule or on the brass flange. Dry all components thoroughly before storing the pen. The brass flange may naturally develop a patina over time.
