    Thérèse Raquin – tension hidden in changing colour

    Thérèse Raquin is inspired by Émile Zola’s novel. Its shifting violet palette combines strong shading, multi-colour separation and a visible colour change as the ink dries.

    Ink character

    The violet tone is deliberately unstable and can separate into several nuances within a single stroke. Paper, nib and ink flow all influence the final balance of colours.
