Come to kaš-mi-daš for a moment to step away from the chaos of everyday reality and immerse yourself in a world of images, words, and free associations. In the Ba-snění workshop, you’ll create your own collage that connects an experimental poem with visual expression into one unique artistic whole.
Together, we’ll take a look at Czech surrealism, which playfully blends poetry and visual art. From discarded books, we’ll cut out our own poems – without any pressure to be “poetically gifted”. The text will emerge intuitively and surprisingly. We’ll then complement the words with illustrations and photographs in a collage, creating a piece that is personal, playful, and slightly surreal.

Creating an experimental poem

You’ll take home not only a finished piece, but also an experience that connects dream and reality into your own small “surreality.”
Your instructor
Instructor Markéta
My name is Markéta and my work long moves at the intersection of image and word. I am fascinated by surrealism, association, and the moment of surprise when seemingly unrelated elements merge into a new meaning.
During the workshop, I will guide you through the process so that you feel free and relaxed. I believe that creating is not about performance, but about play, discovery, and the courage to let go of control. I’ll be happy to share with you the joy of collage and poetry that emerges where we might not expect it at all.
Where the workshop takes place

All workshops take place below deck in our kaš-mi-daš stationery universe. Beneath the stationery shop with café, we have a space where workshops and courses take place peacefully, even during opening hours. During the course, you can order a delicious drink from our café – these are always included in the price.
