The BAROCK Highlighter Ink by German brand Octopus offers bright pigment inks in neon shades that turn highlighting into an aesthetic experience. Designed for use in fountain pens, dip pens, glass pens, brushes or pump-action markers, they can also refill dried-out highlighters.

These inks allow precise work, from underlining small print to colorful annotations and decorative lettering. High saturation and intense luminosity remain stable even after years, making them suitable for everyday highlighting as well as archival or artistic projects. Once dry, they are waterproof, lightfast and resistant to erasing.

Use and care

Before filling your pen with neon ink, clean it thoroughly, especially if you previously used dark shades: traces of old ink can reduce the color's brightness.
As this is a pigment ink, do not let it dry completely inside the pen and rinse the pen immediately after use.
For easy cleaning, we recommend Octopus Write & Draw Special Cleaner or a fountain pen cleaner. Pigments may also leave marks on the work surface; remove them with isopropanol or a specialized cleaner.
