    • Best on smooth paper – the effect works best on smooth, less absorbent paper
    • Optimal with broad nibs – broad nibs with generous ink flow are recommended

    • Slower drying – due to their composition, they dry more slowly than ordinary inks
    • Water-soluble – the inks are water-based

    The Octopus Sheen Ink offers inks with an intense colorful sheen. Medusa has a violet base overlaid with a strong golden-copper sheen. This contrast creates a dramatic, almost magical effect that changes with the viewing angle, amount of ink and type of paper.

    For the strongest effect, use smooth, less absorbent paper and writing instruments that deliver more ink, such as broad nibs, glass pens or brush pens. The ink is water-based, dries more slowly and is 100 % vegan, made in Germany.

    Medusa is perfect for lovers of dramatic violet inks with a luxurious metallic sheen, ideal for poetry, journals, greeting cards and expressive signatures.
