Pilot Capless Rhodium – a fountain pen without a cap

Pilot Capless is an iconic Japanese fountain pen that combines the refined writing experience of a gold nib with the convenience of a push-button mechanism. Instead of a traditional cap, it uses a precise retractable system – one press extends the nib and the pen is immediately ready to write.

When retracted, the 18-carat gold nib is safely stored inside the pen body. An internal sealing shutter protects the nib and helps prevent the ink from drying out. This makes the Capless particularly convenient for quick notes, business meetings and everyday writing, with no cap to remove, put down or misplace.

The Rhodium Trims version combines a lacquered metal body with rhodium-plated clip, rings and other details. The gold nib also features a rhodium-plated finish. The result is a clean, contemporary appearance that complements the pen’s technically sophisticated construction.
