Pilot Capless Wooden combines the technically refined retractable mechanism of the iconic Capless with the warm and natural appearance of material derived from birch wood. Beneath the decorative surface is a solid brass construction that gives the pen a reassuringly stable and balanced feel.

The exclusive finish is made from a durable, toughened birch-derived material impregnated with resin. It retains a subtle organic pattern and the pleasant character of wood while offering greater stability and durability for everyday use. The collection is available in the dark Black Birch finish and the warmer reddish-brown Red Birch version.

A single press extends the 18-carat gold nib with a rhodium-plated finish. After writing, the nib retracts into the body, where an internal sealing shutter helps protect the ink from drying out and leaking. The Capless Wooden therefore combines a distinctive material with the convenience of a fountain pen without a separate cap.
