    Salome – cold darkness and a violet transformation

    Salome is inspired by Oscar Wilde’s tragedy Salome, translating its decadent tension, obsession and dark atmosphere into a shifting colour. The ink begins with a cool, dark blue-grey base that gradually opens into violet tones as it dries.

    Ink character

    Salome is a colour-shifting ink. Blue-grey and violet components can separate subtly within the stroke, creating a layered effect whose intensity depends on ink flow, nib width and paper absorbency. The ink contains no shimmer particles.
