The Ocean Sustainable ballpoint pen arrives in the world, a creation born of love for the sea.
Using discarded fishing nets from Taiwan, it brings its form to life. Five ocean-themed colours depict the fascinating shades of the sea throughout the day.

YSTUDIO explores variations in the colours and ripples of the ocean, records the passage of time and shows different states of mind in everyday life.

This pen is made with a focus on sustainability:

1. Recycled waste fishing nets from Taiwan.
2. Using recycled ocean nylon can reduce carbon emissions by approximately 83%.
3. The raw materials meet the highest environmental standards, are certified under EU RoHS and REACH, and also meet the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
4. Brass components with low lead/nickel content are used, ensuring that the lead content is below 0.01%.
5. The outer packaging is made of FSC-certified paper, supporting responsible forest management.

Use and care

To ensure a long life for the pen and preserve its pristine condition, follow these care instructions:

• To prevent slight yellowing of the plastic parts of the pen body, we recommend minimising prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
• Exposure to alcohol: although alcohol generally has no adverse effects on the human body when using the pen, it is better to avoid prolonged exposure to prevent possible damage.
• Regular cleaning: for daily maintenance, use a dry cloth to clean the pen and preserve its appearance. If the pen becomes dirty, simply wiping it with a damp cloth should suffice.
• The pen tip is made of brass; its colour may change over time due to different conditions of use and storage. Any change in colour caused by oxidation is harmless. If you prefer to restore the pen's original appearance, you can gently wipe the surface with brass oil and a sturdy paper towel to restore the natural colour of the brass effectively.
